Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot shows his classy side as he invites 12-year-old fan ‘who was struck by coin thrown by Arsenal fans’ to next home game after young supporter had to leave Old Trafford early to go to A&E
Dalot has invited the 12 years old fan in the next United home game
United fan George Howe sustained a gash to the head after being struck by a coin in the disabled section thrown from the Arsenal away end, with his father James leaving the match early to take his son to hospital.
James Howe posted a picture of his son – who has epilepsy, brain scarring and autism – upset and slammed the Arsenal away fans. Yet now Dalot upon spotting the tweet replied to offer the pair a ticket to the club’s next match at the Theatre of Dreams.
Dalot said: ‘I’m sorry to hear that your son had to go through all that.
‘Hopefully he is okay now! I’m more than happy to invite you both for our next home game so your son can really enjoy what football is about.
‘Can you provide me a contact so I can speak with you?’
George, who suffers from seizures, had been treated by Old Trafford medical staff before he was taken to Stepping Hill hospital in Stockport.
He missed the conclusion of United’s 3-2 win against the Gunners, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring the winner from the penalty spot.
