Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is battling to try and be available for next week’s cup game against Torino at San Siro, according to a report.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) states this morning, the Swedish centre-forward has a great desire to return to the field and help the team, especially one that is already battling lots of selection problems.
The paper explains that in medical terms Ibrahimovic is fine, so he is pressing to return, and therefore it cannot be excluded that he is in the squad list for next Tuesday’s Coppa Italia Round of 16 game against Torino.
Zlatan has not trained with the group for about a month and a half, but his return is approaching and he hopes to get back out there as soon as possible. If he does not appear in part of the game on Tuesday, then it is highly likely he will be back for the game against Cagliari on January 18.
