The time is seemingly edging closer for Jack Grealish to make a return for Aston Villa.
The thriving playmaker has just posted a video on Instagram, added with an hourglass emoji, of his performances this season to suggest a return to action all but near.
Grealish has missed Villa’s previous four Premier League matches because of discomfort in his leg, but he may well be back for the Newcastle clash on Friday.
Dean Smith did share before Villa’s goalless draw against Wolves that the 25-year-old was running once again, which is an indication that he isn’t far away.
During this forthcoming week, it will be interesting to keep a close eye on any training photos or videos that Villa put out because Grealish may well be in them.
Either way, Smith’s men, who have only scored two goals in his absence, need their star man to return and help lift a Villa attack that has lost its spark recently.
Those in the Midlands will have big ambitions of securing a European finish, so can Grealish push them over that line?
