Southampton are the latest English Premier League side weighing up a move for Rangers star Joe Aribo.
Saints had a representative at Ibrox on Saturday to watch the Nigerian international against Dundee United.
Aribo had to make do with a substitute appearance as Giovanni van Bronckhors t’s side managed to squeeze past Covid-hit United.
Saints also have a number of other positive reports from previous domestic and European action from earlier this season.
The 25-year-old is going into the final 18 months of his Ibrox deal and has yet to sign an extension.
Aribo has been a standout this season and has already been linked with Brentford, Burnley and former boss Steven Gerrard at Aston Villa.
Van Bronckhorst has already said he hopes Rangers can agree a new deal with the Londoner, who came in as a free agent from Charlton Athletic back in 2019.
