LIVERPOOL: A late goal by Ajayi earned struggling West Bromwich Albion a surprise 1-1 Premier League draw at champions and leaders Liverpool on Sunday as the defender cancelled out Sadio Mane’s early opener for the home side.

With this result Liverpool fails to keep the distance with the following teams leaving the Liverpool with 32 points from 15 games, 3 ahead the second-placed Everton. To be noticed is the fact that Manchester United the fourth place in the League is only 5 points away from the first place and with a victory can keep the pace of Liverpool for the battle for the championship with only two points diference.

Instead West Bromwich stayed 19th on eight points but their spirited fightback will have given new boss Sam Allardyce plenty to cheer about.

While his record against the Reds isn’t imperious, he does certainly have a track record of being able to grind out results. And it’s not just with one team that Allardyce has done it, either.

And to be remembered is the last defeat of Klopp side in Anfeild against Crystal Palace under the management of Sam Allardyc.

It’s a Fact that they way Allardyce sets his teams up have frustrated Klopp’s players and here we are again with a draw he secured the first point under WBA management.
