Zlatan Ibrahimovic has clear ideas about his future and at the moment retirement is far from his plans, according to a report.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports how the striker has a contract with Milan until 30 June 2022 but he has made it very clear that his target is to carry on beyond then and he wants nothing more than for that to be with the Rossoneri shirt.
The Swede was a guest on ‘Che tempo che fa’ to promote his book and he spoke about his contract and his future, explaining: “Are you sure my contract with Milan will expire in June? One day maybe it will happen, but we don’t know when… I want to play as much as possible because I don’t want to have any regrets.”
Since returning to Milanello, Milan have returned to being competitive and for this reason Ibrahimovic’s goal is also to try to win another trophy with the Rossoneri, something he really believes is a distinct possibility thanks also to his role in helping the young core with their maturation.
“Since I joined Milan, things have changed, but it’s not just my merit, it’s also thanks to the group and the coach. We made a big step forward because Milan are back at the top, where they belong, then everything depends on the trophies. I want to win another Scudetto,” he said.
