Dele Alli, Harry Winks, Matt Doherty and Steven Bergwijn could all leave Tottenham in January.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
It is understood Antonio Conte is pushing the club to bring in multiple new signings in January after identifying positions that need strengthening.
It is expected there will be some notable departures.
Wenham has named Alli, Winks, Doherty, and Bergwijn as four prime candidates to leave the club
I think the homegrown issue will play a big role in this,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I would expect one of Dele Alli or Harry Winks so go, not both. That’s where the homegrown issue comes into play.
“Matt Doherty is another player who could go, either on a permanent deal or out on loan.
“Other than that, I’m not sure. If an attractive offer came in for Steven Bergwijn I think we would let him go.
There has been increased talk over the last few weeks about Ajax being interested in him.
“That would be an easy deal to do as we aren’t using wingers at the moment and he isn’t homegrown.”
Tottenham moved up to fifth in the Premier League with a win over Norwich on Sunday
They are next in action against Rennes on Thursday
