£36,000 a week player is about to leave Aston Villa
Ludwig Augustinsson is about to have his loan deal at Aston Villa terminated, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
The Italian journalist has claimed that Augustinsson’s loan deal at Villa from Sevilla will now be terminated.
The £36,000-a-week (SalarySport) left-back will return to Spain and join Real Mallorca on loan for the rest of the season.
The Sweden international could not really make an impact at Villa Park.
The left-back joined Villa on loan from La Liga club Sevilla in the summer of 2022.
Augustinsson was supposed to stay at Villa Park until the summer of 2023.
The left-back struggled for playing time, and there were also injury issues.
The Villa no. 17 has made one start and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Villans so far this season.
Augustinsson played once in the FA Cup and once in the Carabao Cup for the Villans so far this campaign.
