Crystal Palace and Tottenham heavily pushing to sign Championship talent

Rangers axed Malcolm Ebiowei just a year ago – and Tottenham Hotspur have joined Leeds United in chasing the Derby County talent.

Ebiowei has already been on the books of some huge clubs in the early stages of his career.

The winger started out with Arsenal but chose to leave the Gunners in 2020 for a move to Scotland with Rangers.

The hope was that Ebiowei would kick on and become a first-team player at Ibrox but that never happened.

In fact, come September 2021, Ebiowei was on the move yet again as he joined Derby County.

Joining the Rams has been a masterstroke for Ebiowei, who has been thriving in the Championship under Wayne Rooney.

The 18-year-old is already playing first-team football and has picked up one goal and two assists in 15 league games.

Rooney has been a huge fan, calling Ebiowei ‘excellent’ whilst EFL analyst George Elek has hailed Eboiwei as an ‘absolute talent’.

It looks like it’s starting to come together for Ebiowei, who now looks set to leave Derby at the end of the season.

The Sun recently reported that Crystal Palace are on the verge of signing Ebiowei.

Palace suddenly face a major battle though as The Sun claim that Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds United and Fulham are all weighing up moves of their own for Ebiowei.

RB Leipzig are keen too, meaning Ebiowei looks very likely to move on this summer.

A move to Tottenham would be very interesting; let go by Arsenal just two years ago, Ebiowei could end up on the other side of North London.

Palace are surely still favourites but Tottenham and Leeds joining the race gives Ebiowei a tough decision to make this summer.
