L’ÉQUIPE | PSG puts together a 300 million package for Haaland

Now the next top club is apparently involved in the race for Erling Haaland!

Paris St. Germain has put out feelings for the Norwegian and, according to “L’Équipe”, is apparently ready to allow the transfer to cost a total of 300 million euros. This also includes payments to Haaland consultants Mino Raiola and Papa Alf-Inge.

AND a princely salary for the star striker of 30 million euros per year!

Haaland is likely to become a topic in the French capital, especially if Kylian Mbappé should leave the club in the summer for Real Madrid on a free transfer. Those responsible assume this scenario, as the world champion continues to make no move to extend his contract with PSG.

PSG and Haaland: Does that really work? There are doubts!

Two years ago, Dortmund and Paris met in the last sixteen of the Champions League. In the first leg, which BVB won 2-1 after two Haaland goals, the Norwegian cheered in a Buddha pose. The PSG stars obviously felt spurred on by this!

In the second leg, which PSG won 2-0, Neymar copied the goal celebration, and later almost all of the French players were photographed in this pose. The Haaland-PSG trouble made the headlines for several days.

According to SPORT BILD information, those responsible at BVB are hoping that Haaland will stay in Dortmund for another season and will not say goodbye until 2023. The hottest candidate for a commitment has so far been Real Madrid.

Background: Real wants to get Mbappé in the summer. Because top striker Karim Benzema (20 competitive goals) still has a contract until 2023 and continues to deliver goals like on the assembly line, Real will not send him out before the end of the contract. The hope that is growing in Dortmund right now: Haaland stays – and only goes to Real when Benzema place becomes free there.

Mbappé and Haaland should definitely not move to the Spanish capital THIS summer because Benzema is already a real top striker. Due to his strong performance, there are no signs that he is leaving the club prematurely.

So three could be one too many in the summer and if Haaland wants to leave BVB this summer, another club could win the race.
