Manchester United Amad Diallo set for a loan move in Premier League

Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo ‘is headed for a January loan’ after just one first-team appearance this season, with ‘many clubs already approaching the club with interest’

The 19-year-old has not played a single minute of Premier League action this season but featured in Ralf Rangnick’s side against Young Boys on Wednesday.

The winger started in the Champions League dead rubber as United were held to a 1-1 draw in their final group stage game.

Diallo has been earmarked for a loan move all season with United keen for him to get more first-team experience after signing him for £37m from Atalanta last January.
The teenager is said to be ‘excited’ by the prospect and several European clubs are reported to be interested.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reported, via The Sun: ‘Many clubs have already approached Man United to negotiate for Amad Diallo loan in January. Feyenoord want him since last summer. #MUFC’

Feyenoord were said to be interested in the summer and remain keen to bring Diallo to the Eredivisie.

Diallo is seen as a potential asset by United thanks to his lightening pace and ability on the ball but his lack of first-team experience is holding him back.

The forward has only played nine games for United since arriving but is under contract at Old Trafford until 2025 and the Red Devils hope a spell out on loan will help develop him into a regular member of the first-team squad.
