Reports suggest Aston Villa are keen to sign two Leeds players

Aston Villa are being linked with a double raid on Leeds United having shown an interest in Crysencio Summerville and Tyler Adams.

Leeds United players are already attracting interest after relegation with Crysencio Summerville and Tyler Adams wanted.

The Whites were always going to face interest in some of their young and exciting players and it looks like Aston Villa are especially keen.

FC Update in the Netherlands report that Villa are interested in snapping up Leeds winger Summerville.

PSV Eindhoven and RB Leipzig are also looking to sign Summerville, who has shown potential at Elland Road.

The Athletic now add that Villa have midfielder Adams on a list of targets for the summer transfer window

It’s stated that Adams is expected to leave this summer and Villa are now looking to land him.

Unai Emery is keen to bolster his midfield and United States international Adams is considered to be an option.

Summerville is quick and exciting, possessing plenty of potential at the age of just 21.

The former Feyenoord prospect certainly showed promise in the Premier League last season, registering four goals and two assists.

Summerville only started 12 Premier League games though, coming off the bench 16 times.

This would be a gamble for Villa but they do need more options on the flanks.

Leon Bailey has been injury prone and Emery is hardly going to rely on Bertrand Traore every week.

Summerville may be seen as an option from the bench who can cause problems and potentially became a first-team pick down the line.

Villa do already have midfielders like Boubacar Kamara, John McGinn and Douglas Luiz but adding more quality for the Europa Conference League would be ideal.

Adams has shown that he can play as a holding midfielder in front of the back four, or a little further forward to operate from box to box.

The former RB Leipzig man certainly shouldn’t be playing in the Championship and he would surely jump at the chance to join Villa if they came calling.
