Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino in the summer.

According to El NacionalBarca have expressed an interest in signing Firmino who is out of contract in 18 months.

The report also states he would be available for around €20 million (£16.6m).

The Catalan club are reportedly in the market for attacking players after summer signing Sergio Aguero announced his retirement from football last month due to a heart condition.

Firmino has endured a frustrating campaign so far. He has already missed 14 games due to hamstring injuries and Covid issues and Jota has shone in his absence scoring 12 goals in all competitions.

However, the 30-year-old still has seven goals to his name this season and will certainly play a crucial role for the club whilst Salah and Mane are at the African Cup of Nations.

Firmino joined Liverpool for £21.3m from German side Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015.

In his six and a half seasons at Anfield he’s scored 94 goals and notched 72 assists in 309 appearances.
