AC Milan prepares a bid for Italian striker

Divock Origi will be one of Milan’s first signings this summer, arriving on a free from Liverpool, but that doesn’t rule out another striker arriving. In fact, the Rossoneri are preparing an attempt for Gianluca Scamacca.

Scamacca currently plays for Sassuolo and he impressed this past season, finding the back of the net 16 times, including once against Milan. He’s believed to be the future striker for Italy and it’s not surprising that big teams are following him.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan will bring in Origi and Renato Sanches as the first signings this summer. However, they could also make an attempt for Scamacca, who can guarantee goals for the present and future.

Sassuolo’s demands for the players have been high thus far and it remains to be seen if the Rossoneri can make a concrete attempt, or if it will be shot down immediately. In any case, the arrival of Origi won’t close the centre-forward market for Milan.
