Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna claims City have made contact with super agent Jorge Mendes over a move for AC Milan star Rafael Leao. The report claims City opened dialogue with Mendes a few weeks ago over the possibility of prising the Portuguese away from the San Siro.
Leao is attracting growing attention after scoring 14 goals and making 12 assists to help Milan end their 11-year title wait. Milan have offered him new terms, but are not said to be confident of hanging on to one of their most-prized assets.
