Nottingham Forest set to sign £20m Wolves midfielder

ottingham Forest believe that they have the edge over Leeds United and Southampton among other clubs in the race for Wolverhampton Wanderers attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, according to talkSPORT.

TalkSPORT have reported that Southampton, Crystal Palace, AC Milan and Forest all are keen on signing Gibbs-White from Wolves in the summer transfer window


The report has claimed that if Gibbs-White does decide to leave Wolves this summer, then Forest believe that they ‘have an edge over their fellow suitors due to his relationship with manager Steve Cooper’.

The playmaker was part of the England Under-17 team that Cooper, now the manager of Forest, led to World Cup success in 2017.

Gibbs-White also played under Cooper at Swansea City.

Earlier this week, The Sun’s Alan Nixon reported on Patreon that Forest are planning a bid of £20 millionfor the 22-year-old.

Gibbs-White spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Sheffield United from Wolves.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder made 35 startsand two substitute appearances in the Championship.

The youngster scored 12 goals and gave 10 assists in those games.
