Signals arrive from Tonali’s words regarding the renewal of Leao and Bennacer
The words of Sandro Tonali last week might just have given us an insight into the renewals of Rafael Leao and Ismael Bennacer, a journalist has claimed.
Pietro Mazzara has discussed the words of Tonali in his latest column for MilanNews. Speaking last week, Tonali defined Bennacer as ‘fundamental’ and spoke of how much he loves playing alongside the Algerian.
It could be construed as words aimed at the management because Tonali knows there aren’t many players like Bennacer around, especially ones that the club could reasonably afford.
On Leao, Tonali mentioned the idea of the Portuguese winger having a ‘choice’ to make. The midfielder certainly implied that if he wants to renew with the Rossoneri, then he will renew.
However, if he wants to leave for other reasons, then he must do so at the end of the season, giving everything up until that point.
