have reportedly been told that it could take up to £41m to seal the services of AS Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo. The north Londoners have been linked with a swoop for the Italian over recent days, with current sporting director Fabio Paratici thought to be a big fan.
According to CalcioMercato, the 22-year-old is set to come to a decision over his future with his contract at the Stadio Olimpico scheduled to expire in the summer of 2024. It is suggested that whilst Roma want to receive up to €60-70m (£49.7-£58m), the reports are indicating that a price tag of €40-50m (£33.1-£41m) would be far more realistic.
Whilst the north London club are well in the mix for Zaniolo ahead of the summer transfer window, one man that they appear unlikely to pursue this summer is Ajax winger Antony. Spurs have been linked with a swoop for the Brazilian in the past but that now appears unlikely.
According to The Sun, he has been sounded out as a potential summer transfer target by Manchester United, with Erik ten Hag expected to make his own move to Old Trafford. Spurs apparently requested for information on Antony in the January transfer window but elected to seal the signing of Juventus wideman Dejan Kulusevski instead.
