Winger could now join West Ham for £40M

David Moyes’s West Ham United are reportedly confident of getting a deal done for Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes and bringing him to London Stadium.

According to Rudy Galetti on Twitter, West Ham United and Leicester City are in talks over a move for Harvey Barnes in the summer transfer window.

The Hammers are ready to offer as much as £40 million for the winger, who is set to agree personal terms with the London club, according to the Italian journalist.

Galetti has added that there is optimism on West Ham’s side that a deal will be struck.

Now, of course, discussions are underway and we know that nothing is finalised at the moment, but it appears that Barnes could become a West Ham player eventually.

Barnes made 32 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leicester last season.

The Leicester no. 7 scored 13 goals and gave one assist in those games.

The Foxes will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League.

West Ham won the UEFA Europa Conference League last season and will feature in the UEFA Europa League next campaign.
